‘A neglected vacuum will spread dirt around your house, not just on the floor but also in the air,’ she said in the video
‘A neglected vacuum will spread dirt around your house, not just on the floor but also in the air,’ she said in the video.
‘So make sure you’re replacing your bag regularly and cleaning the filter.’
Kacie recommended cleaning the vacuum hose from the inside out by letting water run through it in the bathtub.
‘We all know you need to clean the head, but when was the last time you cleaned the hose? Because I’m sure there are people who never do that,’ she continued.
In the video brown dust and dirt can be seen being squirted out of the hose in the bath.
‘And if you don’t want scratches on your floorboards, check the wheels,’ she said.
If you have a bagless vacuum cleaner, it’s best to empty it after every use to optimise functionality.
Tangled hair and threads caught in the roller head can be removed using scissors.
The exterior casing of the appliance can also be wiped down using a paper towel or cloth and some cleaning spray.
