An 8-year-old girl who charmed Kate Middleton in The Bahamas says she ‘can’t be bullied anymore’ after her important role in welcoming the Duchess for her official visit.
Aniah Moss met the Duke, 39, and the Duchess of Cambridge, 40, as the couple touched down at Lynden Pindling International Airport for the final leg of their Caribbean tour.
She donned a pink and white dress, pale pink shoes, and a string of pearls to greet the Cambridges, who seemed charmed by the interaction, with Kate tellling the schoolgirl she was ‘beautiful’.
In an interview with local news channel ZNS Network after the meeting, Aniah was asked what she’s going to tell her friends at school about meeting the royal.
She replied: ‘You guys can’t bully me anymore. You guys can’t tell me what to do.’

After presenting the duchess with flower, the girl spoke to local media, and said she would tell her friends they ‘couldn’t bully her anymore’ now she has met the royal
Her mother, Kendenique Campbell-Moss, also spoke to reporters, describing her feelings.
‘I was so very proud of her,’ she said of her daughter. ‘She’s very docile so it was an honour to see her do it.’
Speaking later to PEOPLE magazine, 8-year-old Aniah said: ‘[Kate] said I had a nice dress and I was beautiful and thank you for the flowers.’
She added that she thought the royal couple were ‘very tall’.
Her mother added that when they received the call about being the flower girl, just one day before the event, she thought she ‘better pull it out and make sure she’s ready for the day’, dressing her daughter in the frock they had bought for Easter last year.

As the couple arrived in The Bahamas for the last leg of their Caribbean tour, Kate donned a bespoke aquamarine dress representing the colours of the country’s flag.
The Emilia Wickstead frock features a structured collar with a tailored bodice and knee-length skirt. The duchess paired it with a matching clutch bag and pair of simple Gianvito Rossi suede heels.
Kate also opted for a pair of chunky statement earrings, once again donning the county’s national colour, but kept her look simple, otherwise opting for minimal jewellery.
To finish the ensemble, she swept her brown tresses back into a chic low ponytail, and wore a chic, pared-back make-up look, sporting a dark brown smokey eye with a peach-toned blush, light bronzer and some subtle highlight.

Her arrival outfit was the second of the duchess’ looks that day to feature an Emilia Wickstead dress.
Earlier in the day, a the couple left Jamaica, Kate recycled a £1,380 green gown by the designer, which she paired with Kiki McDonough earrings and Gianvito Rossi pumps.
Kate also paired the dress with the Queen’s hummingbird brooch, which was gifted to Her Majesty during her visit to Jamaica in 2002.
Ahead of departing for their final destination, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted on their official Instagram account: ‘What an amazing trip so far! Thank you Belize and Jamaica. Next stop, The Bahamas’.
