Mick Jagger’s ballerina girlfriend, 35, writes an erotic novel offering ‘salacious, behind-the-scenes events’ about a fictional dance troupe

Mick Jagger’s ballerina girlfriend has written an erotic novel set in the world of dance.

Melanie Hamrick, 35, a former principal dancer with American Ballet Theatre in New York, said the book would offer ‘salacious, behind-the-scenes events’ surrounding a fictional dance troupe. ‘I’ve been working on it for the last year and have just recently finished it,’ she added.

Whether she draws on any of her own romantic experiences with wrinkly rocker Jagger, 78, remains to be seen.

The Rolling Stones frontman once boasted of sleeping with ‘more than 10,000 women’, including a Who’s Who of the supermodel set such as Carla Bruni, Jerry Hall and Luciana Gimenez. Other conquests include singers Marianne Faithfull and Marsha Hunt.

He has eight children, including five-year-old Deveraux with Ms Hamrick, who has been his girlfriend since 2014.

Earlier this month Ms Hamrick was spotted wearing a four-carat diamond and sapphire ring on her engagement finger, but Jagger’s publicist denied the couple are engaged.

Ms Hamrick has reportedly ‘calmed’ Jagger, with one friend saying: ‘They spent a lot of time together in the past two years during the pandemic, mostly at his places in Mustique and France. Mick’s enjoyed having that family time and he loves being a dad again at this stage in life.

‘Melanie is good for him. She’s independent and is always doing her own thing. She’s producing her own ballet performances set to music by the Stones and has been writing this book for the last year.

‘It’s coming out this summer – everyone is looking forward to seeing if there are any references in there to Mick.’

The friend added: ‘He’s very much a changed man.

‘When they are together they prefer to spend quiet nights in, eating healthy food prepared by their private chef.

‘They work out a lot together too. Mick’s in a great place.’

The Stones have announced a European tour this summer called Sixty, celebrating the time they have been together as a band, which will include two shows in London and one in Liverpool.
