Nick Kyrgios has escaped a ban and been handed little more than a speeding ticket after his latest outbursts at the Miami Open.
The controversial Australian was given four fines for his sustained tirade at umpire Carlos Bernardes totalling $35,000 (£26,500) after being handed a game penalty in his fourth round defeat by Jannik Sinner.
The biggest of the punishments was being docked $20,000 for verbal abuse of the official, coming on top of two for unsportsmanlike conduct and one for an audible obscenity.

Coming on the back of his $25,000 (£19,017) fine for nearly hit a ballkid when flinging is racket in Indian Wells, it takes his career fines to more than $300,000 (£228,204).
However, there was no suspension, which after the recent spate of poor player behaviour will be seen by some as an insufficient deterrent. Kyrgios was playing in the semi-final of the doubles on Thursday night, and even before that he was guaranteed to earn a minimum $155,000 (£117,905) prize money from the event.
Liverpool’s Neal Skupski continued his outstanding start to the season with Dutch partner Wesley Koolhof on Thursday night when they reached the final of the men’s doubles with a 6-1, 3-6, 10-5 win over Italians Simone Bolelli and Fabio Fognini.
