A mum has revealed three ‘cleaning hacks’ she swears by that keep her home tidy, stain-free and spotless.
Melbourne mum-of-two Chantel Mila, better known by thousands as Mama Mila, used only a few household items to thoroughly clean her home.
To clean her microwave effortlessly, without any scrubbing, Chantel filled one microwave-safe bowl with water and placed lemon slices inside.

She then heated the bowl inside the microwave for three minutes until it was steamy, then wiped leftover grime from the interior and door right off.
Chantel removed stains from her carpet with a homemade mixture made from half a cup of soda water and one teaspoon of dish soap, then poured it into a spray bottle.
She sprayed the carpet to remove the stain and shared that the DIY mixture is powerful on material items, but always recommends to patch test first.

Chantel also soaked the range-hood filters from above her stovetop with a regular dishwasher tablet to clean them thoroughly.
She placed them into her kitchen sink with warm water and dropped the tablet in to remove grease and grime easily.
Chantel posted three of her most requested hacks to Instagram where thousands have liked and hundreds have commented on the cleaning tricks.
