Katie Price shared an emotional video of her mum sobbing whilst watching TV on Saturday.

The former model, 43, filmed her bleary-eyed mum Amy whilst they watched Britain’s Got Talent, exclaiming ‘I’m going to show everyone this’.

70-year-old Amy wiped away tears with a tissue, while Katie shared the video to her 2.7million followers.

During the video, Katie questioned: ‘We’re only watching Britain’s Got Talent, what you crying for?

‘You’re such a plonker, I’m going to show everyone this,’ she continued.

Amy then replied: ‘no you’re not’ as she gave the camera a teary smile while wiping her face with a tissue.

Katie continued saying she was ‘going to show everyone’ that she had a heart, saying: ‘deep down I am like you, I do have a heart, especially when you cry at Britain’s Got Talent’.

The TV personality let out a laugh, but her mum wasn’t ready to see the funny side just yet – with her head turned away from the camera as she replied ‘stop it’.

In the caption, Katie explained that she actually ‘loved’ it, writing: ‘Love how soft my family really is . I so take after my mum / she is such a donut sometimes’

Katie has a close relationship with her mum, who suffers from terminal illness idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.

Amy was diagnosed with the incurable illness in 2017 – which causes scarring to the lungs and makes it difficult to breath.  

The playful video comes after the former glamour model could be set to spend three months in a wheelchair – as she is due to undergo urgent surgery on her feet.

She had a serious accident in 2020 causing her to break both her feet while on holiday in Turkey and is still suffering from the incident. 

Sharing an update to her followers on Saturday, Katie explained the toll the accident has had on her, detailing: ‘It’s massively affected my mobility and has really knocked my mental health’
