Sonia Kruger reveals what she REALLY thinks about Rita Ora on The Voice Australia’s ‘superstar’ coaching line-up

Sonia Kruger has revealed her thoughts on Rita Ora after the British pop star joined The Voice last year.

In an interview with 7Entertainment on Sunday, the 56-year-old Voice host was clearly besotted with the Anywhere singer.

‘Rita Ora is just incredible, everybody who has met Rita has a little bit of a girl crush on her,’ she said.

‘I look at the four superstar coaches and I have to pinch myself sometimes because somebody like Keith Urban, who has just been at the Oscars and the Grammys and headlining in Vegas, is there talking to people just normally and that blows my mind. 

The veteran TV presenter also called Guy, 40, a ‘triple threat’ and described Jessica, 33, as the ‘nicest person on television’.

‘Guy Sebastian is hilarious, wildly talented of course, but also extremely funny.

‘And Jess Mauboy is all of the above plus she’s the nicest person on television, I feel like we are sisters really.

Sonia claimed the four judges have been the ‘heart and soul’ of the Channel Seven series, which has been enjoying record TV ratings week-on-week. 

The talent show amassed a 735,000 metro viewers tune in on Tuesday night.

His comments prompted Rita to roll her eyes, but an undeterred Guy continued in his critique of Nicola’s performance.

‘As a coach, what I noticed is you best shine when you relax, and when you’re free and confident,’ he continued.

Interrupting his spiel, Rita then accused Guy of repeating everything she’d said only moments earlier.  

Guy simply laughed off Rita’s frustrated remarks, before Nicola, 20, ultimately chose him to be her coach.

Speaking to Nicola immediately after her performance, Rita urged her to ‘work on your presence’.
