Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso is hopeful of a summer move to Barcelona.
The 31-year-old left-back is on a shortlist of targets drawn up by the Spanish side who are waiting to see if Chelsea’s new owners, who were at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, will be willing to sanction a bargain sale once their player trade restrictions are lifted.
Barcelona have already agreed to sign Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen on a free and have made an offer to Chelsea captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
