Big Brother Australia fans go wild for veteran housemate Reggie Bird

Reggie Bird is back on Big Brother Australia after winning in 2003.

And on Monday’s premiere episode, the 48-year-old won hearts all over again with her spirited return to the house. 

Fans posted to Twitter in droves, with some declaring that the delightful former winner could take the crown once again. 

Many were especially amused after Reggie attempted to get Big Brother to say ‘doodle’. 

With a handful of OG housemates in a control room, Big Brother vowed to repeat anything they said to the new housemates using his electronic voice. 

Reggie convinced him to say ‘fair dinkum’ and ‘Do you have any underwear on?’ before she tested out ‘doodle’ as a suggestion. 

Big Brother declined to say the word, causing Reggie to break out in laughter – and viewers loved it. 

‘Australia doesn’t want beautiful people we want Reggie who tries to make big brother say “doodle”,’ one person tweeted. 

‘LMAO NOT REGGIE TRYING TO GET BIG BROTHER TO SAY DOODLE,’ shouted one more.  

‘Reggie saying ‘doodle’ is better than anything a new housemate has said so far,’ someone else wrote. 

’19 years later and Reggie is still reality tv gold without even trying,’ another chimed in. 

‘OMG loving Reggie she is so funny, I have missed her! I remember why l loved her again,’ someone else agreed. 

‘Omg Big Brother being Reggie is giving me all the life,’ one more said, while another added: ‘If Reggie gets in to the final, she’ll win again’.
