Ellen Pompeo keeps it classy in a black and pink-patterned ensemble during a lunch date for two with husband Chris Ivery on Mother’s Day
Being a wife, mother of three, an in-demand television and film actress, and leading your own production company, doesn’t leave much time for things like romance.
But on Sunday Ellen Pompeo and husband Chris Ivery made sure they spent some quality time on Mother’s Day, which included heading out on a lunch date for two.
Looking stylish and classy, the longtime Grey’s Anatomy star, 52, was spotted moments after leaving a restaurant in the Studio City neighborhood of Los Angeles on Sunday.

Pompeo stepped out on her special day in a black and pink-patterned ensemble that consisted of loose fitting pants that fell to mid-calf and a matching button-down top.
Making her way to their parked vehicle, she also donned a pair of gold open-toe shoes, and her brown tresses done up long and flowing well past her shoulders with a part in the middle.
The Screen Actors Guild-winning actress could also be seen carrying a stylish black purse.

It appears Ivery, 54, who’s a music producer, was playing the shy role and avoided being photographed during their afternoon out together.
In order to spend some quality time alone, the couple had to leave their three children – daughters Stella, 12, and Sienna, seven, and a son Eli, five – at home with a babysitter.
Pompeo and Ivery met in Los Angeles in 2003, about two years before she scored the role of Meredith Grey.
After dating for a few years, the pair married in 2007 during a private ceremony.

One of the world’s highest paid actors since 2017, Pompeo has played Dr. Meredith Grey on Grey’s Anatomy for the medical drama’s 18 season run to date.
That run will be extended for at least another year, as both the show and its leading lady have been renewed for a 19th season.
According to Forbes in 2020, Pompeo makes $550,000 per episode. She also receives about $6 million per year from her share of syndication profits, which overall translates to about $19 million per year.
