Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond, 53, says she is ‘ready for a nap’ after celebrating 22-year-old daughter Paige’s college graduation from University Of Arkansas

The Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond, celebrated a big milestone over the weekend. 

The Food Network star shared news and photos from her daughter Paige’s graduation from the University Of Arkansas on social media Sunday. 

The 53-year-old writer wore a red, pink and black floral top with ruffled bell sleeves and jeans to mark the 22-year-old’s big day. Her husband, Ladd, 53, was dressed comfortably in a blue button down shirt and jeans.

Writing on social media, the influential blogger shared,’ We celebrated Paige this weekend. She’s definitely ready for the next stage in life! (As for me, I’m ready for a nap.)

‘On an unrelated note, Bryce is a goofball. Congratulations, Paigie.❤️’

The second oldest of the Drummond bunch graduated with honors and already has a job lined up in Dallas. 

Ree and Ladd are also parents to Alex, 24, Bryce 19, Todd, 18 and foster son Jamar Goff, 19. The teen joined the family in 2019.

Ree, was born Ann Marie Smith in 1969 to Dr William Dale Smith and his wife Gerre Schwert in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. 

She graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in journalism and gerontology. 

The ambitious writer married her husband in 1969 and turned to blogging 10 years later in 2006, sharing stories her life as a wife and mother on the family ranch in Pawhuska, Oklahoma.

Her Pioneer Woman contributions earned her several awards and her website was named one of the “25 Best Blogs” in the world by Time magazine. 

Since then, she has authored several cook books and children’s books, including stories about the family’s basset hound, Charlie. A good portion of her story about transitioning from life in the city to the country in the New York Times best seller From Black Heels to Tractor Wheels in 2009.

The multi-talented celebrity has created a large own sphere of influence recommending recipes, makeup and beauty tips as well as creating her own line of home goods which she shares on her website and on social media.
