The mother of a three-year-old child in Colorado was horrified to find a crack pipe in one of her bags after she ordered groceries from Walmart last month.

Tesia Britt, 28, found the drug paraphernalia next to a bottle of pineapple juice on April 5 while unloading her errands along with her daughter at home in Aurora.

Britt immediately complained to the supermarket chain but was told that Walmart uses a third-party service for purchases through their app.

She told DailyMail.com that she spoke to a manager who promised her that the driver would face ‘disciplinary action’ but they did not specify what that would be.

Walmart has since confirmed that they ‘immediately deactivated the third-party driver’ after the complaint.

But Britt told DailyMail.com she was still waiting for an apology from the billion dollar chain and said she hadn’t even received the store gift card she was promised.

SHOCKING: A used and dirty crack pipe was found in a grocery bag that was delivered from a Walmart store in Aurora, Colorado, by a mother of a family of three on April 5

Tesia Britt said Walmart has not directly apologized to her over the incident and that she was offered a refund of her order a gift card of unknown value that she has never received. She added that the multi-billion dollar company has been 'treating this whole situation like it's just a messed up grocery order and it's bigger than that.'

‘I have not received an apology from Walmart,’ she said. ‘I literally was offered a refund of my order and a gift card of unknown value that I never received!

‘I haven’t heard anything from Walmart and honestly I don’t think they were planning on doing anything until I reached out to Fox 31 Problem Solvers.’

She added that she doesn’t feel like the store where she ordered from, located between Tower Road and I-70 in Aurora, has been ‘sincere about making things right.’

‘I should have never had to experience finding a crack pipe in my groceries….and honestly they treating this whole situation like it’s just a messed up grocery order and it’s bigger than that,’ she further told DailyMail.com.

In response to the incident, Walmart issued the following statement: ‘We strive to provide every customer with a positive delivery experience. While uncommon, we take customer complaints like this very seriously.

‘Upon learning of what happened, we immediately deactivated the third-party driver and encourage any customer who encounters anything unsatisfactory to reach out to customer care,’ Walmart added.

Britt said she will continue to rely on Walmart for her groceries, but will do curbside or in-store pickup if she doesn’t do her own grocery shopping.

‘I haven’t ordered from Walmart since the incident and if I do have groceries delivered it’s been Amazon Fresh grocery delivery.’ she said.

Walmart did not respond to DailyMail.com’s request for comment and have not yet identified the third-party delivery service that hires its drivers.

‘You shouldn’t have to worry about when you have groceries delivered that you can’t even let your kids help anymore, because you don’t know what you’re going to find in these bags,’ she further told Fox 13.

Consumer experts have warned delivery shoppers to always check their item’s packing to assess whether it’s been tampered with and to report anything suspicious that they may find.
