Shona McGarty and Max Bowden are allegedly ‘mad for each other’ and ‘inseparable’ on the EastEnders set after he split from his pregnant girlfriend Roisin Buckle.
The actress, 30, who plays Whitney Dean, and her co-star, 27, starring as Ben Mitchell, are thought to be tactile and ‘never apart’ while filming the show.
It has also been claimed that Max vowed to his baby mama that he was not romantically with anyone else when they called it quits last month.

A source told The Sun: ‘Max and Shona are mad for each other. They have been spending quality time together for a while now.
‘Shona has been a great support for Max over the last couple of months and been a shoulder for him to cry on.
‘Who knows what could happen in the future but for now they’re just good friends.’

They went on to admit the pair are ‘absolutely not in a relationship’, with the actors also insisting they are not ‘officially dating’.
Back in March, Max and Shona put on a cosy display as they had fun at a country music festival, which was held at The O2 Arena in London.
The redhead beauty is thought to be a single lady after splitting from her fiancé, electrician Ryan Harris in January 2020.
Max split from insurance executive Roisin, 36, earlier this year but the pair are said to be ‘delighted’ at the prospect of becoming parents and found out they were expecting some time ago.

A friend told The Sun: ‘They broke up earlier this year. There was no one else involved, it just simply didn’t work out.
‘Max and Roisin remained good friends and were thrilled when she found out she was pregnant.
‘They are determined to co-parent the tot and are supporting each other. It has been a tough year for Max so he was delighted when he found out he is going to be a dad.
‘He’s really excited about the future.’
The source also told the publication that those who know the couple ‘could not be more excited.’
They confirmed their romance last October – five months after they started dating. During their romance, the pair remained largely out of the limelight.
