Georgie Tunny threw a fake punch at Waleed Aly during Tuesday night’s episode of The Project.

The pair were interviewing actress Elsa Pataky on the show, when Waleed asked the star about the pitfalls of fighting onscreen.

‘Unlike choreography, if you do a wrong step [in a movie], you get punched in the head?’ he asked.

‘Yes, you do. If you miss one and you don’t do the right move, it will get you,’ Elsa explained.

‘When you fight for the camera, everything has to be bigger and more exaggerated so the cameras can capture it,’ she added.

The Project’s co-host Peter Helliar then asked Georgie to ‘fake punch Waleed’ on camera.

The presenter swung her hand towards her co-host as he bent down.

‘I thought I may hit him!’ she said as Waleed joked: ‘That just fake-hurt so much.’

During the interview, Elsa said her action hero husband Chris Hemsworth didn’t spare her when it came to giving advice on her fight scenes.

‘He was so bossy!’ the 45-year-old said.

‘He was just telling me, like, “This is the right angle when you punch”. He was just showing me how to do it, what is the right position you have to have,’ she went on.

‘He has been doing it for a long time. It was great having him. He was supporting me from the beginning, from when he first read the script.

‘He said, “You have to do this, it’s going to be fun, you will enjoy it, I know how much you like this kind of movie”.

‘And [he told me] how destroyed you will be after, and you wont do it again,’ she added with a laugh.
