Actress Nia Long was in a dancing mood on Sunday night, celebrating her fiance Ime Udoka as he advanced to the NBA Finals.

The 51-year-old actress took to Twitter on Sunday night, sharing a video of her dancing briefly while celebrating Udoka, the head coach of the Boston Celtics.

The Celtics beat out the top-seeded Miami Heat to advance to the NBA Finals, where they’ll play the Golden State Warriors for the NBA Championship.

The actress was clad in a black t-shirt and short blue jean shorts with her black hair tied back in a pony tail.

She jumped and screamed while dancing around in her living room and even delivering a leg kick in the brief video.

The video was captioned, simply, ‘Yes!!!’ in reference to her fiance’s big win, advancing to the NBA Finals in his first year as the head coach of the Boston Celtics.

She also tweeted earlier in the evening, ‘My nerves are bad….Let’s go @celtics!!!!,’ with the hashtag #18 signifying what would be the legendary franchise’s 18th NBA championship.

Long and Udoka started dating in 2010 and share a 10-year-old son, Kez Sunday, with Long also sharing 21-year-old son Massai Z. Dorsey II with her relationship to Massai Z. Dorsey.

The couple became engaged in 2015, though Long explained in an interview with Essence that she’s not a fan of marriage in general.

‘Love is complicated, let’s just start there. And then you start a marriage, which I’ve never been married,’ Long began.

‘And there’s a reason for that because I don’t know that I need to say ‘I do’ to prove to you that I love you. But also, what does marriage really [mean]… that you own me now and I own you? I don’t get that part,’ she said.

‘I understand the religious aspect of marriage. That is beautiful and it’s fantastical and it’s dreamy and it’s every girl’s fantasy to have that moment,’ she said.

‘But I don’t know that I need that to feel like I’m in a partnership that’s working,’ Long clarified on the podcast.

Udoka played professional basketball from 2000 to 2012, including his time in the NBA with teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs.

After retiring from his playing career, he joined the Spurs as an assistant coach in 2012, and he also served as an assistant coach for the Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets before he was hired as the Celtics’ head coach in June 2021.
