An Australian bride has booted her tall and attractive sister out of her bridal party as maid of honour because she ‘doesn’t fit the aesthetic’ next to the other women.
Aish called into the Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM to break the bad news to her younger sister Dash who she said ‘assumed’ the role of maid of honour when she got engaged and has ‘a different look’ from the rest of the bridesmaids.
Dash was clearly heartbroken and burst into tears when she realised the news was not a prank.

Bride-to-be, Aish has left her sister, Dash, devastated after dropping her as maid of honour live on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show because she didn’t ‘fit the aesthetic’
Before Dash got on the line, Aish explained to Kyle and Jackie O her reasoning behind dumping her sister from the bridal party saying while she never asked her to be maid of honour, it was something the sisters talked about from a young age.
‘We’ve grown up pretty close and she’s assuming it’s a no brainer,’ Aish said.
‘I honestly didn’t think until I started this that she probably wouldn’t be.’
The bride-to-be said she has a certain look planned for her wedding and Dash doesn’t fit in with her similar-looking friends.
‘We have rounder faces and cheeks and she’s a lot taller and she’s got a different aesthetic to the rest of us,’ she said.
‘It’s just based on the face shape? There’s got to be more to this,’ Jackie O questioned to which Aish responded with: ‘It’s also a group of friends and I didn’t want to exclude one of them; she was the easy one to exclude’.
Once Dash joined the conversation, things got awkward quickly as Aish let the cat out of the bag.

‘You know how I’m obviously wedding planning and I’ve been doing all these things and obviously you’ve been involved – I’ve got to tell you something important though,’ Aish started.
‘I’ve finalised my bridal party and unfortunately I don’t think you’re going to be my maid of honour’.
Clearly shocked, Dash immediately assumed her sister was making a practical joke.
‘What? Wait is this a prank?,’ she asked.
The rejected Dash fought back tears as it dawned on her that she wouldn’t be her older sister’s maid of honour on her special day.
‘They’re all a certain look: short round faced, then there’s you Dash and she thinks ‘Oh you’re just are too beautiful to be in bridal party’. You’re in the pews with the aunties and the no ones,’ Kyle brutally explained.
‘This is going to make me cry – are you for real?,’ Dash said obviously bothered.
Aish tried to apologise but Dash was still left feeling ‘pretty sad’.
‘I’m so sorry. I probably should have told you earlier I just didn’t know how to,’ the bride explained.
Kyle and Jackie O were left stunned after the call was done with the shock jock calling the exchange ‘awful’.
‘I’ve never heard of anyone being thrown out of a bridal party for being too good looking,’ he said.
