‘Is that mould?’ Woman’s picture of a McDonald’s Quarter Pounder sparks outrage and confusion

  • Woman received McDonald’s burger with excessive amounts of salt and pepper
  • She posted photos sparking an online debate about her strange burger
  • One person even suggested the smattering of seasoning was mould

A customer at a McDonald’s has been left shocked at what she discovered inside her burger, with others also stunned by the photos she put online.

The woman took photos of the Quarter Pounder she purchased at a southwest Sydney outlet, with the cheese covered in what could be a high amount of salt and pepper, but which confused viewers.

‘Can I have a quarter pounder with my salt and pepper?’ the woman joked in her post.

One person suggested that it could be something worse.

‘Is that mould?’ the commenter asked.

Another person said they had never seen a McDonalds burger like it before.

The purchaser said she did not even ask for salt and pepper on the burger.

Others commented that excessive salt and pepper seemed to be common  on burgers from McDonald’s restaurants in the area, saying the same thing had happened to them.
