‘When you think about the food you love, it’s nearly always home cooking,’ Nigella says.

‘I’m a home cook and it’s the food that I want to eat. I’ve come 17,000 kilometres to find Australia’s best home cooks!’

Passing homes, Nigella declares: ‘They could be behind that door, or that one.

‘Some one could be cooking it right now – the best recipe I’ve ever tasted, a hidden family treasure, only they know.’
