27-year-old twin sisters coincidentally give birth within one hour of each other on the same day

27-year-old twin sisters coincidentally gave birth within minutes of each other on the same day – despite being due nearly a month apart.

Identical twins Amanda Caston and Julia Baldree, from Farragut, Tennessee, were ‘inseparable’ their whole lives.

When the sisters became pregnant around the same time last year, they were excited that their kids would be close in age – but they never expected to welcome their babies on the same day.

Amanda gave birth to her son, Miles, while Julia welcomed twin boys, named Josiah and Carter, on March 28 – despite Amanda being due on April 2 and Julia being due 20 days later, on April 22.

According to People magazine, Amanda was induced on the 27th but didn’t end up delivering her son until the next day – at almost exactly the same time that Julia gave birth via cesarean section.

‘When he got here at 10:24 A.M. on Monday morning, I was waiting to hear from my sister,’ Amanda recalled to the outlet.

‘And then I found out they were all born within an hour. I was not expecting that at all.’

The twins said they went through every stage of their pregnancies side by side, sharing in all the milestones as they both geared up to welcome their new bundles of joy.

‘We were texting and Facetiming up until the hour before and the hour after they were born,’ Amanda also told WBIR recently.

WBIR reported that the odds of twins having kids on the same day, while one of them welcoming another set of twins, was about four in 100,000.

The identical twins said growing up together ‘was a lot of fun’ since they ‘always had somebody to play with or argue with,’ adding that they were excited that their kids will have that too.

‘We used to always trick our dad and he would never be able to tell the difference,’ joked Amanda. ‘We always had somebody to play with or argue with, it was a lot of fun.’

‘We’ve all just had girls, everyone’s just had girls and then, surprise! Three boys,’ Amanda gushed to WBIR.

‘It’s not often that you hear of twins having twins and another on the same day within the same hour and all being boys.

‘They’ll always have best friends to hang out with through childhood, like we did. I hope they realize how much their family loves them because we love all of them very much and it’s exciting to have all three of them within the family.’

She added to People, ‘It’s been really fun and definitely an adventure. And we’re excited that they get to share birthdays just like we did. It worked out really good, and we’re all really excited.’
