‘We have reason to believe this act is intentional by an adult, as a baby would not have the ability to throw it as far out where it was found.

‘If this is you doing so, please stop as this is disgusting behaviour and you will be reported.’

Building managers urged others to keep an eye out and ‘assist’ in catching the person responsible.

Other social media users took light of the interesting situation and made joking remarks in the comments.

‘Pretty good detective work there on deducing it wasn’t a baby throwing their own nappy,’ one person joked, another added: ‘Please do not underestimate what a baby can do.’

A third said: ‘Plot twist, the baby lives alone in the apartment and is throwing them off the balcony but isn’t old enough to read the letter and keeps doing it.’

‘Dear Lord, I’m glad I’m not living there anymore,’ another said.

One person suggested: ‘Please buy a bin where the nappies were found, then they can aim for the bin.’
