She started shooting Alex Garland’s upcoming epic action film Civil War in Atlanta in March.
Some three months later and Kirsten Dunst enjoyed a bit of down time and decided to make her way to Joan’s On Third in Los Angeles for lunch.
The Academy Award-nominated actress also got in a bit of shopping in West Hollywood on Wednesday, where she looked to be on the hunt for clothes for her two young children that she shares with fiancé and actor Jesse Plemons.

Dunst, 40, kept it casual in the fashion department dressed in faded blue jeans with a tie-dye Rodarte T-shirt.
The Power Of The Dog star also donned a pair of yellow sandals and carried a black leather purse over her right shoulder.
For her stroll out alone, the New Jersey native pulled her long blonde tresses into a loose ponytail with a part on the left.
Appearing to wear minimal makeup, the former child star also donned stylish sunglasses as the sun glared down and the temperatures soared into the upper 80s Fahrenheit.

Earlier in the afternoon, Dunst was spotted shopping for her sons Ennis, four, and James, one, at the children’s boutique, Eggy, in West Hollywood.
Dunst was first scene on the set of Civil War in Atlanta, Georgia in mid-March, which happens to be her first work-related project since giving birth to her second boy this past September.
Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation) is serving as both writer and director for Civil War which also stars Wagner Moura, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Cailee Spaeny, Karl Glusman and Sonoya Mizuno.
Details of the storyline have largely been kept under wraps, although Garland did reveal that it is set ‘at an indeterminate point in the future and serves as a sci-fi allegory for our currently polarized predicament’ according to The Daily Telegraph.
The shoot for the film shifted from Atlanta to London, England in May.

For her last film role in The Power Of The Dog, Dunst received a Best Supporting Actress nomination alongside Plemons, who got a Best Supporting Actor nomination for his role in the Western psychological drama.
The couple, who also starred together in the series Fargo in 2015, began their romance the following year, which led to their engagement in 2017.
They would go on to welcome their first son Ennis in May 2018 and their boy James three years later.
Growing up on camera as a child star, Dunst is best known for her roles in Little Women (1994), Spider-Man (2002), Spider-Man 2 (2004), Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind (2004), Melancholia (2011), The Two Faces of January (2014), Hidden Figures (2017) and The Power Of The Dog (2021).
Plemons had his breakout role in the hit AMC series Breaking Bad (2012-2013), and is also known for such films as Battleship (2012), Black Mass (2015), American Made (2017), The Irishman (2019), El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie (2019) and Jungle Cruise (2021).
