Australia’s ‘hottest’ lollipop lady, 24, says she gets hit on every day at work by strangers desperate for her attention: ‘I’d slow down just to say hi’

A young woman dubbed Australia’s ‘hottest’ traffic control worker says she’s hit on every day by drivers desperate to capture her attention.
Anjelica Langton started working on the roads of Mullumbimby, in the Northern Rivers region of New South Wales two years ago and also works part-time as a bartender.
The 24-year-old says she needed to develop a thick skin in order to deal with the catcalls and comments from strangers.
‘Everyone who I work with is really lovely and respectful – it’s only drivers and strangers passing by that always say something,’ Ms Langton told FEMAIL.

‘I get hit on everyday, people call out all types of things from their cars, they’re always whistling and honking their horns,’ Ms Langton said.
She added how sometimes drivers pull over to ask if Ms Langton is single and if they can have her number.
Ms Langton finds humour in the situation and says she always has a ‘good laugh’ with others at work.
‘The way I respond is legit just wave and laugh just have fun! It’s nothing serious you know,’ she said.
Ms Langton added how she often has banter with co-workers and said: ‘We sometimes have a bit of sh*t talk with the other crews you work with but nothing serious – it makes the day to go a lot quicker.’

‘I’ve tried other day jobs and they weren’t it. So I spoke to dad, his boss and they told me to get my tickets and I got the job straight away!’ she recalled.
She’s also happy to see a lot of young women getting into the field that’s known to be male-dominated.
‘In the last year I’ve seen soooo many more women traffic controllers! I definitely tell to so many girls do it!’ she said.
On TikTok she has also been sharing daily work videos in uniform and has gained a following of more than 29,000 people.
In one clip, Ms Langton can be seen simply holding the slow/stop traffic control baton and smiling at the camera – which has been viewed more than 3.2million times.
And the comments from strangers aren’t only received in person, they seem to be shared online too.
‘Hottest road worker I’ve seen,’ one person commented on her TikTok video, another added: ‘I’d slow down just to say hi.’
