David Beckham goes shirtless as he lounges on a lavish yacht with his wife Victoria in Miami

David Beckham went shirtless as he lounged on a lavish yacht during a sun-soaked trip with his wife Victoria in Miami on Wednesday.

The former footballer, 47, showed off his toned abs and intricate arm and chest tattoos as he donned a pair of red shorts.

He shielded his face from the bright sunshine with a black baseball cap and enjoyed a beverage as he relaxed on the deck.

David was later seen sporting a navy blue T-shirt and black square sunglasses as he chatted with two friends on the yacht.

He was also joined by his fashion designer wife Victoria, 48, who cut a sporty figure in a black crop top and shorts as she sat on a golf buggy on the lavish boat.

She tucked her brunette tresses beneath a black baseball cap as she spent quality time with her family and friends on the trip.

The outing comes after Victoria took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce a fashion collaboration with her son Romeo’s ex-girlfriend Mia Regan.

In a surprise announcement, the Spice Girl shared a short video of Mia modelling outfits from their collaboration as she ran across a sandy beach.

Alongside the post, she wrote: ‘MIA REGAN X VICTORIA BECKHAM. Exclusive drop at 10AM GMT tomorrow, available only at VictoriaBeckham.com and at 36 Dover Street.’

Romeo also showed his support for his ex-girlfriend as he shared the short advert to his own Instagram Stories.

It comes after MailOnline revealed in July that Romeo and Mia had ended their three-year relationship after the strain of managing a long-distance relationship took its toll.

Sources confirmed to MailOnline the couple parted ways due to the pressure caused by their conflicting work schedules, with Romeo spending much of his time in the United States while he pursues a football career.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Essentially the long distance relationship at their young ages took its toll. Romeo and Mia are both lovely young people, they’re very fond each other and the family love Mia.

‘She’s continuing to collaborate with Victoria Beckham through her work, but sadly Romeo and Mia aren’t together anymore.’

Romeo is currently playing as a midfielder with Florida based Inter Miami II – the club his father David Beckham co-owns – while Mia is primarily based in London.

Elsewhere this week, Victoria revealed the matching black leather outfits she wore with husband David in 1999 still ‘haunt’ her to this day.

The fashion designer appeared on Monday’s episode of the Andy Cohen-hosted series Watch What Happens Live alongside Anne Hathaway.

During her appearance, fans offered a glimpse back at some of her and Anne’s red carpet looks in a fun segment dubbed So Posh or Oh Gosh. 

One of the looks were the matching black leather pantsuits Victoria and her husband wore for their Millennium New Year’s Eve Party in 1999.

‘I still… I mean it haunts me. It does haunt me, but I love it,’ she said of the outfit. 

‘It was hot. We were wearing Gucci. It was a Versace dinner, which is inappropriate in itself,’ Beckham joked.

‘But, you know, we really considered those outfits. I mean we really talked about it. There was a naivete to it that was just so sweet,’ she added.

When Andy asked why it still haunts her, Victoria said: ‘Because everybody pulls it out of the bag.

Later in the episode, Victoria took a question from a viewer, who asked what the chances of a Spice Girls reunion would be, perhaps during Glastonbury festival. 

‘You know, I had so much fun being in the Spice Girls, but, you know, I think that now with everything else that I’ve got going on with my fashion and my beauty line, four children, you know, I just — I couldn’t commit to that,’ Victoria replied. 

‘But I had so much fun in the Spice Girls. I love the girls. I really, really enjoy singing Spice Girls when I’m doing karaoke, but I think I’d better leave it there.’
