A TikToker shared a top tip to get into Glastonbury Festival for free where you also bag ‘your own campsite, toilets, showers and food tokens.’
Megan Huria, from New Zealand, took to her TikTok account @megsfromnz on Thursday to share that you can attend the Somerset festival for free, all just for a few hours of work a day.
The presenter explained that she got in to last year’s festival as a volunteer for Oxfam, working three eight hour shifts.
While this year’s slots have already gone, applications for volunteer positions in summer 2023 will be opening in the new year.

In the clip, which racked up over 152,000 views, Megan said: ‘Do you want to go to Glastonbury 2023 for free?’
‘Well keep watching here we go! Tickets go on sale on Thursday the 3rd of November, we are doing this.
‘What you want to do is go over to the Oxfam website and register yourself as an account.
‘Make sure the address you use on the Oxfam account matches the address on your debit card or credit card.’
She took to her TikTok account @megsfromnz on Thursday to share that you can attend the Somerset festival for free, all just for a few hours of work
‘Oxfam volunteer at a number of events across summer. One of them is Glastonbury.
‘When they release their tickets, you need to be in there. But you need to be registered before they drop.’
By tickets Megan meant application places for potential volunteers, people can apply for one of those places when Oxfam open their applications.
‘When Oxfam release their set of positions for volunteering, you go in there, you pay a deposit, which is the cost of a Glastonbury ticket, which I think is £330 now right.
‘Then you do your three eight-hour shifts at Glastonbury. And after all of that’s wrapped up, you get your £330 back.’
She continued: ‘You get your own car park, own campsite, toilets, showers, food tokens, charging station, it’s legit. Plus you’re doing it for a really good cause.’
The host went onto explain in the the caption that when she registered in 2019 the rule was that ‘you had to register before volunteer positions were released.’

On the Oxfam website the charity explains that volunteers have access to a community space for volunteers, boiling water, plus tea and coffee supplies, phone charging facilities to keep you connected, crew loos & hot showers and a meal token per shift.
Oxfam said: ‘Returning volunteers will already have an account with us but they will still need to apply when the applications open.’
People rushed to the comment to ask Megan to explain how they can apply to be a volunteer.
She explained: ‘Click ‘Volunteer with us’, then select ‘STEWARDING’, then scroll down (past the description and amazing benefits) and select ‘my account’
‘Then you’re presented with a log in page, click ‘Sign up as a new user?’ And enter all your details.
Another person wrote: ‘Oxfam also do so many other festivals other than glasto, if you do more than two a year you can get priority for the next year.’
Megan added: ‘More festivals Oxfam volunteer at: Latitude, Reading, Isle of Wight, Womad, Boomtown Fair, Boardmasters, Leeds, Nass, Wilderness and more!!!’
