Love Island’s Andrew Le Page admits he ‘doesn’t care’ about fame and wouldn’t mind returning to his day job after finding love on the dating show

He catapulted to fame earlier this year after placing fourth alongside girlfriend Tasha Ghouri on Love Island.

But Andrew Le Page has revealed that making money from fame isn’t on his radar, as he went on the show to find love – and was successful.

The former real estate agent, who worked in Dubai before entering the show, admitted that he wouldn’t mind going back to a day job and still has goals to work in property.

Speaking in a Q&A video for his new Youtube channel, the star explained that despite many contestants enter the show for fame, he was solely looking for love.

As one fan questioned whether he felt pressure to make money after the villa, Andrew answered: ‘I don’t really get a lot of pressure, I’m quite a relaxed guy. I went on the show, and I know it’s probably hard to beleive for a lot of people, but I went on the show to find love.

‘It wasn’t like a job opportunity for me or anything. If I go back into a normal real estate job, i’m quite happy with it.

‘Ultimately I’ve got a girlfriend who I absolutely adore and that was the goal, so there’s no pressure to make money. I went for love and that’s what I got,’ he continued.

Andrew also detailed his process getting on Love Island, revealng that he applied for the show – rather than being approached.

He and Tasha have been going from strength to strength since leaving the villa, fronting a slew of A-list events and collaborations.

But keeping his dreams from before fame, Andrew is still hoping to follow in the footsteps of both his parents, who are property developers. 

Speaking on his dream carer, he shared: ‘My dream career would be property development, I grew up watching my parents doing property development. 

‘Just seeing their lifestyles, they would get to be at home and work flexible scedules and I want that. When I went into a normal 9-5 I was like “oh I don’t like this”. So because I’ve seen my family do it, that would be the dream.’
