The former Love Island star, 27, who appeared on the seventh series of the ITV2 dating show in 2021, took to her Instagram Stories on Saturday to answer some questions from fans.

When asked if she would ever date anyone in the public eye, she revealed she had but would prefer in the future to keep her options open.

She explained: ‘This is the ONLY dating question I’m going to answer. Because I’m a bit over getting them.

‘I have only ever dated one person in the public eye in the last two years, it lasted for the best part of five minutes, so it’s not even known about outside of my inner circle.

‘I’m not dating atm anyway. I have no interest in it.’

Along with her answer, Sharon shared a picture of herself sitting outside a cafe as she enjoyed a cup of coffee.

Sharon and her ex Hugo Hammond, 26, became embroiled in a social media row previously when she accused him of ‘inappropriate touching’ after they met on the same series of Love Island.

Appearing on podcast Saving Grace, Sharon admitted she doesn’t talk to Hugo anymore after he made jokes over her drink getting spiked and did some ‘inappropriate touching’.

Denying the allegations, Hugo put out a written statement at the time via his TikTok story, dubbing her comments ‘outrageous and simply false’.

Chatting with TikTok star Grace Barry on her podcast, Sharon detailed a night out she’d had with Hugo and some fellow pals, which led to the feud.

When questioned whether she is close with Hugo or not by Grace, Sharon replied: ‘So, I was and then I cut him off really abruptly. One of the Islanders had a birthday, so we all went out and my friends had come down from up north for it. They all went to some really gross sports bar.’

She then detailed that instead of going out with Hugo and the Islanders, she and her pals went to a club they had been invited to for free.

Continuing: ‘Hugo texted me and I had no signal because the club was underground, when I got back to the hotel I had been texting him and he called me a basic b***ch for going to this club – I’d never been to it in my life, I didn’t know it had that reputation and I didn’t pay a penny so I didn’t care, I had a great time.’

‘And then I Facetimed him because he seemed quite drunk, and he made jokes about me getting spiked. And then his friend messaged me and was like “You’ve upset Hugo” so I was like “What are you? 5? Why are your mates messaging me?”.

‘Yeah so I haven’t spoken to him since, he’s tried to message me and I don’t think he knows what he’s done,’ explained Sharon, as Grace probed ‘You don’t think he remembers?’

She then explained that following the Facetime, Hugo sent her a message, to which she replied telling him to ‘f*** off’

Sharon added that there’s ‘other stuff going on, like inappropriate touching, which he probably also doesn’t remember’.

Hugo wrote a lengthy statement in retaliation – branding the comment on inappropriate touching ‘wild’ as he explained: ‘The wild comment made around inappropriate touching is outrageous and simply false, to say something like this is seriously damaging and paints an unfair picture of me.

‘You cannot just throw that sort of language around,’ added Hugo.

He also strongly denied making any jokes surrounded drink spiking – noting that it’s ‘not who I am’.

Writing: ‘Firstly, Spiking is not a topic I use within my jokes nor do I find it funny, It’s horrific to be honest. I wouldn’t joke about someone being spiked, it’s just not who I am, friend or not.’

He also expressed his disappointment that the feud is taking place over social media, admitting he’s ‘pretty upset’ as Sharon ‘knows what that can do’.
