A TikToker was left bewildered after her neighbour painted their side of the fence, leaving behind a complete mess on the other side of the wood.
The fence separating the two gardens was only 18-months old and the woman said she had no plans of changing the shade of wood she had become accustomed to.
But after the neighbour’s bright white paint seeped through the panels, the woman was left contemplating if she should confront her neighbour.
Sharing the mess to her thousands of followers, Shonagh, known on TikTok as @itsmamnotmum said: ‘Next door painted their fence… but look at the state of ours!!’

The TikToker, known online for sharing life advice and tips, added: ‘Would you say something!?’
The now-viral video shows the woman’s light brown fence splattered with white paint from top to bottom.
Since it was posted, the video has raked in 90,000 views and has received hundreds of likes.
The half-painted fence, spanning the entire of the TikToker’s garden, certainly stands out.
TikTokers flooded the comments with extremely mixed opinions, some infuriated users advised the woman to retaliate by painting her side of the fence with distinguishable colours.
‘I’d paint over it brown and do the same to their side LOL,’ one user wrote.
The resident was left contemplating if she should confront the neighbour, but users are split on whether she has a right to be annoyed
‘Only one thing for it… bright neon paint on your side,’ another added.
While other users, advocating for the neighbour, claimed the woman had no right to be upset as the fence didn’t appear to be installed on her side.
One person wrote: ‘It is their fence given the way it is facing. They can do what they like. I suggest you just paint your side with the same paint.’
Another user agreed: ‘I personally would just ask them what paint they used so that I could match it. Life is too short for fighting about things like this.’
To which the infuriated TikToker wrote: ‘Well, I had no intention of painting ours and it’s really bright paint as well, when it’s sunny you’ll need glasses on!’
