Barbie director Greta Gerwig and fellow director Noah Baumbach have tied the knot after nearly 12 years together.
The filmmaker, 40, and the Oscar-nominee, 54, said ‘I do’ in New York City Hall on Tuesday, according to Page Six.
The pair then celebrated the special occasion by attending Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert. At the show Gerwig was overheard telling people backstage that they had just gotten married.
‘They were both glowing and celebrating. They are so happy,’ a source who spoke with the publication shared.
The insider added that Gerwig looked ‘so gorgeous’ in a white suit skirt and jacket. ‘She looked like a bride. He looked handsome in his suit.’

The pair also reportedly told people at City Hall about their wedding, before they headed to catch Joel’s show.
The duo started dating in 2011, and before getting engaged in 2020.
At the time she told James Corden that she preferred not to call him her ‘fiancé’ because it ‘makes it sound like there’s an imminent wedding.’
The couple share two sons together, born in March 2019 and February 2023.
Baumbach also shares son Rohmer with his first wife, actress Jennifer Jason Leigh, 61.
