West Ham are considering a move for Coventry striker Viktor Gyokeres in the summer transfer window.
David Moyes went to watch the Sweden international, who is valued at £20million, as reported by The Sun.
The Hammers are eager to bring in at least one new striker, with Michail Antonio’s future uncertain.
Gianluca Scamacca has struggled to make the desired impact since his move from Sassuolo and Moyes wants more competition for places up front.
Gyokeres has scored 18 goals in 38 Championship appearances for Coventry so far this season.

David Moyes went to watch Gyokeres in action and was impressed by his performance
On the international stage Gyokeres has scored two goals in 12 appearances for Sweden.
If he was to make the switch to a Premier League club then it would boost Gyokeres’ chances of really establishing himself for Sweden.
However, West Ham’s status in the division for next season isn’t yet secure as they are currently in the relegation zone.

Gyokeres was a Brighton player between 2018 and 2021 but didn’t make a Premier League appearance for the club and was sent out on loan on several occasions.
He played 26 minutes in Sweden’s 3-0 defeat to Belgium in their opening Euro 2024 qualifier.
West Ham have scored just 24 goals in the league so far this season and certainly need to find the net with greater regularity.
