6′ 4″ model gets creepy DMS from men asking to CLIMB her

A stunning six-foot-four woman has revealed that she is inundated with DMs from men asking to ‘climb’ her – while insisting that shorter guys are better lovers.

Emerald Van Langen, a 32-year-old nutrition manager and model from Toronto, Canada, admitted that dating used to be difficult because of her height, but that hasn’t stopped her from finding love – or admirers online.

‘I’ve been with my husband for eleven years now and he’s five-foot-ten-inches tall. Before we met, I didn’t date much but I only dated shorter men – six-foot-two and under – when I did,’ she explained.

While some might assume a shorter man would be more likely to be intimidated by her height, she said the opposite was the case.

‘Taller men would always seem to be nervous about me being taller than them,’ she recalled.

Emerald proudly shows off her height in the photos she shares on her Instagram page, though she admitted that they sometimes attract unwanted attention.

‘I do receive some inappropriate DMs. Some just ask me to stand next to a door, but some want me to post kinky videos,’ she explained. ‘Someone once messaged me saying, “I’d climb you for a f**k.”‘

Growing up, Emerald had always hoped she would be as tall as her older sister, who is six-foot-three, and shunned coffee and soda after hearing a rumor that caffeine would stunt her growth.

‘When I was younger, I learned that caffeinated pop and smoking would stunt your growth,’ she said. ‘Smoking wasn’t an issue in our house – nobody did it.

‘I put more effort into not drinking any caffeine as I wanted to be taller than my sister and it paid off,’ she added. ‘Whether that’s down to genetics or my efforts is unknown.’

In ninth grade at school, Emerald began to notice that she was growing at a much quicker rate than that of her friends.

She began to opt for flat shoes instead of heels and preferred to be seated when conversing with others because it was more comfortable for her.

‘I used to feel a bit awkward in school. I would often bend down to fit in pictures – and still do,’ she recalled. ‘Everyone joked that the basketball coach would ask me to be a part of the team, but they never did.’

Emerald grew to six feet, four inches tall – beating her sister by a single inch – and learned to fully embrace her height, though some things are still difficult for her.

‘Clothes shopping has become easier now that I know which stores sell longer sizes,’ she said. ‘When I went wedding dress shopping, I had to have a seamstress drop the skirt so it was longer.

‘Apartment hunting is the worst experience. My first question is how high are the ceilings which landlords always seem to lie about,’ she added.

‘Strangers sometimes shout, “How tall are you,” which bothers me. It’s more decent to come over and talk instead.’

Emerald is now spending more time focusing on her modeling career after initially struggling to find her place in the industry.

Models are well-known for their graceful heights, but casting directors often deemed Emerald to be ‘too tall.’ It wasn’t until she started freelancing and finding her own work that Emerald found her niche.

‘I started taking a modeling class when I was 16, which taught me to stand up straight and be more elegant,’ Emerald said.

‘I got a paid gig, but my hips and feet were too big to fit into their sample sizes, so I gave modeling up for a few years.

‘Now, I’m falling in love with it again and I’ve started working out, and building up my strength. I love meeting new people and traveling to new places on the job.’

‘Being tall has its benefits,’ she added. ‘I have more storage space so I can eat more. Most importantly – no stools or ladders needed.’

The reality star was wearing an all white outfit in the pictures exclusively obtained by MailOnline.

Brian Austin Green defends dating several women after splitting with his wife of 10 years Megan Fox

Brian Austin Green has been criticized for being seen on dates with Courtney Stodden then Tina Louise after splitting from his wife of 10 years, Megan Fox, in May.

But the Beverly Hills, 90210 star told the podcast Hollywood Raw with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn that he has a right to be seeing other women already as Fox romances Machine Gun Kelly.

‘I’m not playing anybody. My life is just much more under a microscope than somebody else’s. Isn’t that dating?’ he offered. ‘Aren’t you supposed to talk to multiple people? It doesn’t mean I’m a s***** person. That’s what you’re supposed to do, meet people and experience life.

Holding hands with a new gal: Brian Austin Green has been criticized for being seen on dates with women after splitting from his wife of 10 years, Megan Fox, in May. Seen with Tina Louise earlier this month

Green then added, ‘When you start finding commonalities with someone, then it becomes something bigger. You have to be willing to get out there and put yourself out there. But I get judged for it, I think, unfairly.’

The ladies had a large age gap. Stodden is 25-years-old and Louise is 39-years-old; Brian is 47-years-old.

He also said that it was an organic process.

‘What people normally do when they get out of [a relationship] is they date. They talk to multiple people at once, some people use dating apps, they talk to multiple people, they go on multiple dates, they spend time with people until you feel a connection with someone then something builds from there,’ he said.

And Brian revealed he has been using Instagram as a dating app, since his marriage ended.

He said: ‘I met both of them [Courtney and Tina] on Instagram. I had no idea that Instagram was so much of a dating site until I was single. Up until then, I posted pictures of benches, trees, the ocean and my kids doing stuff here and there. I was a total married dad on it.

‘All of a sudden I started getting DMs when Megan and I separated. [The DMs] started flowing in instantly, no shame in their game at all. I would get these DMs, and when you’re going through something like that and you’re hurting, you feel better when it seems like somebody is taking your side.

‘I would make the mistake of responding and saying, “Thank you.” Not knowing I was opening some sort of door because that was never my experience of Instagram before then.

‘I’ve been single this whole time. Dating, I guess. I’m open to meeting somebody. I’m focused on myself and healing with all of this and my kids.’

He also said that he did not know who Courtney was until after they went on a date in June. ‘I remember when I hung out with Courtney getting a call from somebody afterward saying, “There are pictures of you and Courtney Stodden,” and I was like “How do you know her name?” I had no idea who she was or any of the past anything,’ the star said.

‘I had done no research at all. It wasn’t until I was told, “This is the past, this is who this person is, this is what you might have to experience.” Then you have that moment of, “Oh sh*t, what have I done? Sh*t.” Hindsight again, 20/20. I wish I would have known beforehand.’

Brian said that Courtney ‘was a really nice person’ and did not want to bad mouth her.

But he did not appreciate the video Stodden shared with Brian in a hot tub. When asked if he felt ‘a little betrayed’ by that he said, ‘Yeah, of course.’ He argued she knew it was ‘out of context’ and thinks she ‘wanted to create a story and create some issues and something to be talked about and keep that going.’

As far as her sharing the revenge song, he said that was ‘f**king insane’ and he noted their lives are very different: ‘I’m 47 with 4 kids and I’m not out walking my dogs in bathing suits and sh*t like that.’

He also said during the podcast how  he learned his Transformers actress wife was dating singer Machine Gun Kelly and it was not through the press.

‘I found out in my own way. And that’s as much detail as I’ll give you on that one. I didn’t read about it or anything like that,’ said the former Beverly Hills, 90210 star who has three children with the siren.

As far as dealing with the split, the actor said it is going fine. ‘I think it’s going as well as it can,’ said Brian.

‘There’s no rule book to it. There’s no way of doing it right or doing it wrong. We are learning as we go. The important thing for us is just communicating as much as we can,’ said Green.

And he is aware that their three kids – Noah, seven, Bodhi, six, and Journey, three – will deal with the impact of their split.

‘I think the realization for us is we can’t take the view that it won’t affect the kids, because it will,’ he said.

The little ones: The actor with his three children Noah, seven, Bodhi, six, and Journey, three

‘I think it’s up to us, and parents in general, how it affects your kids. Whether it’s a really negative experience or it’s okay and they feel safe in it and feel loved. Everyone still loves and respects everyone, things are just different. It’s not bad different, it’s just different,’ he continued.

‘I wish Megan the absolute best in everything. I want her to be completely happy, for her, for the kids. That’s super important,’ added Green.

‘No one wants to be around somebody that’s unhappy, nothing good comes out of that. That’s a terrible situation. We are taking it day by day. This is insane, this happened at an unfortunate time that nobody could have predicted with quarantine and the virus and all of that. The news cycle is a bit bigger than we were prepared for. It is what it is,’ he added.

This comes after Fox and Kelly went Instagram official last week.

The 30-year-old took to the social media platform with a quirky black and white photo of the couple on Tuesday along with a romantic caption.

In the mirror selfie snapped by MGK, the celebrity duo pulled funny faces together and both playfully stuck out their tongues.

Megan was looking slightly off camera in the picture wearing a black sports bra that highlighted her toned tummy with a pair of high waisted black sweatpants.

The 34-year-old actress’ long raven locks were down in soft waves and she sported bold brows and contoured cheeks.

Her hiphop star beau, whose real name is Colson Baker, stood with his arm wrapped around Megan’s waist wearing a black T-shirt and pants.

He captioned the snap: ‘waited for eternity to find you again.’

Up until this point, the only images that the Cleveland native has shared of the Jennifer’s Body star have been from his Bloody Valentine video, in which she starred as his love interest, and the occasional post to his story.

This latest loved up image comes after the couple recently headed off together on a romantic vacation to Puerto Rico.

Prior to their getaway, the pair gushed about their romance in their first joint interview with LaLa Kent and Randall Emmett on their podcast Give Them Lala… With Randall.

Megan said she knew in her gut that something was going to spark between them when she found out Colson had been cast in on of her movies.

‘I could feel that some wild s**t was going to happen to me from that meeting, but I wasn’t yet sure what,’ she added. ‘I just felt it like, deep in my soul – that something was going to come from that. So then, we met on set.’

The This Is 40 star even went so far as to say, she could see something akin to a soul mate in the rapper, or what she calls a ‘twin flame.’ She explained: ‘I knew right away that he was what I call a twin flame. Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time.’

The single mother-of-one told how she ‘couldn’t stop crying’ as she opened up on her mental health on her podcast, The Clueless Mum.

The TV personality said she had her first period in more than three years following pregnancy and the contraceptive pill, which she described as ‘extremely emotional’.

Speaking on the podcast, titled, ‘Periods, PND and & Trip To The Paediatrician’, Nadia revealed that she came off anti-depressants, which ‘worked wonderfully well’ for her, when she found out she was pregnant.

She said: ‘I am having to try and learn to live with and manage I was on anti-depressants.

‘I am no longer on any medication and so therefore you are all up in your feelings because I actually really loved my anti-depressants they worked wonderfully well for me – they really helped my mental health get stronger.

‘But then when I was pregnant I wanted to come off and I did and so obviously, you know, it becomes, I don’t know, the voice in your head that is telling you that you are a s***** person just gets a bit louder.

‘And the more tired you are, and the more fatigued you are, the louder the voice becomes and the less mental strength you have to tell her to, “shut the f**k up”, basically.

She continued: ‘And so it becomes this constant voice in your head of self-doubt and worry and anxiety and depression.’

Speaking about re-starting her period, she said: ‘It was tough, it was so heavy and extremely emotional and the day before I was crying over all sorts of stuff. ‘

Nadia also explained how she is going through the four-month sleep regression with Ezekiel and revealed that she has not slept more than a ‘four-hour chunk’ in 12 months.

She explained: ‘His sleep pattern is now becoming more like an adult but it is very very difficult because we just have no sleep and so I am extremely tired.’

Nadia also revealed that she has just 10 days before she has to move out of her flat after she still hasn’t found anywhere that is ‘quite right’.

‘Luckily it seems to have kind of naturally passed I am feeling the last couple of days a lot brighter.’

The Duchess of York, 60, praised the family while introducing Natasha’s father, Nadim Ednan-Laperouse, as a special guest on her Storytime With Fergie and Friends online show.

Mr Ednan-Laperouse’s daughter Natasha died four years ago aged 15 after suffering a reaction and going into shock when she ate a Pret a Manger baguette that she did not realise contained sesame seeds, to which she was allergic.

Sarah Ferguson helped to secure Natasha’s law, named after Natasha Ednan-Laperouse, which introduced a tightening of food labelling rules.

The royal became involved in the fight to change the law when she saw the parents crying on a return flight from Nice as they flew their daughter’s coffin home.

‘I was going through the airport and I heard them really crying,’ she said during an appearance on This Morning last June. ‘On the airplane I was sitting right behind them and put my hand rather rudely over the top.

‘And I said “I’m so sorry, I’ve just got to know, is there anything I can do? I feel so much pain for you”.’

The Duchess was then horrified to be told that the teenager had died on the flight out to France.

Nadim told her that their daughter’s coffin was being flown in storage right beneath their seats after she died despite him administering her epipen.

An inquest heard both Natasha and her father checked the baguette bought at Heathrow and were ‘reassured’ by the lack of allergy warnings.
