Kerry Katona has revealed Caroline Flack reached out to her after she was targeted by Fathers For Justice amid her court case.
Flack, who was found dead at her London home aged 40 yesterday, messaged Katona, 39, on Instagram a week after she was charged with assaulting her boyfriend Lewis Burton, 27.
The former Love Island presenter asked the singer ‘How did you deal with fathers for justice?’ before adding ‘they are horrible x’.
The campaign group launched a scathing social media campaign about Flack days after she was charged.
It showed a picture of her holding a sign that reads: ‘This is what a domestic abuser looks like. #abusehasnogender’.

The TV star’s ex-fiance Andrew Brady used the same hashtag when he uploaded a non-disclosure agreement to social media that week.
He had previously posted about ‘escaping a toxic situation’ and warned: ‘The truth will come out eventually’.
Today the Atomic Kitten star said she ‘wasn’t sure if she was doing the right thing’ by posting screenshots of private Instagram conversation between her and Flack.
The post reveals Flack had previously been in touch with the mother-of-five, who ended the conversation by telling the ITV star ‘to look after herself’.
Flack then messaged her again on December 21, a week after she was charged with assault, writing: ‘Kerry. Hi xxx

Katona wrote a lengthy post on social media this morning, apologising if she had offended anyone
Today Katona wrote on Instagram: ‘I’m not sure I’m doing the right thing here printing a private Conversation between myself @carolineflack but I really want to show the effects that people @f4jofficial have had on women like myself and @carolineflack and many more people need to see what he’s done!’
‘The way the press and sickos like this play with our mental health is so wrong!!!!
‘They just go off what they are reading in the papers or only hearing one side of a story! To Caroline’s family I’m sending you all my love, strength and light to you!!
‘Please let’s stand together knock out the stigma of mental health and stop bullying!!!! We are not all strong!’
Katona claimed that Fathers for Justice even targeted her after the death of her husband George Kay.
He died of a suspected drug overdose last year aged just 39.
The singer’s lengthy post also referred to her losing her TV advertising deal with Iceland and contracts with OK magazine.
She wrote: ‘I feel so strong about this. I’m so sorry if I’ve offended anyone with these messages but I will not be silenced,’ after admitting she was ‘in bits’ and ‘couldn’t stop crying’.
