Heartwarming moment teenage boys dig trapped puppy out of a 3ft burrow after hearing its whimpers

An adorable lost puppy had to be dug out of a hole when it got stuck after burrowing down across 3ft of soil.
The fluffy Bangkeaw puppy went missing soon after it was born in Yasothon, north eastern Thailand, last week.
Its owner thought the dog had wandered off and enlisted the help of a group of local boys, including her neighbour Sarawut Bunma, to find it.

The group eventually heard a whimpering sound coming from underground after searching for the dog for a few hours on Thursday, February 13.
A video of the rescue mission showed one of the teenagers using a hoe to dig at the mud that encased the trapped puppy.
Sarawut said: ‘My neighbour’s dog gave birth but one of the puppies disappeared. She thought it had walked away and was lost.

The boys had to dig deep into the soil before they reached the terrified dog, and even then they struggled to pull it out
‘We started looking and after a few hours could hear noise coming from underground so we knew we found him.’
