Jax Taylor vowed to remove designated best man Tom Sandoval from his wedding party on Tuesday’s episode of Vanderpump Rules.
The season eight episode titled It’s Not About The Pastor centered on Jax, 40, and his fiancee Brittany Cartwright, 31, firing the Christian pastor who planned to officiate their wedding due to his homophobic posts on social media.
They gave him the axe after being informed by Lisa Vanderpump, 59, of the pastor’s offensive remarks about the LGBQT community on social media.

Brittany told Lisa over the phone that her Kentucky pastor and family friend had assured her that he was not homophobic.
Jax and Brittany later revealed that gay rights activist and former boy band member Lance Bass, 40, would officiate their wedding.
Sandoval, 36, during a birthday party for SUR manager Peter Madrigal took Jax aside to question him about the pastor’s dismissal.
He and 34-year-old girlfriend Ariana Madix, who just came out as bisexual, were both outraged that Jax and Brittany hadn’t acted sooner as the pastor had been posting anti-gay comments for the past six months.

‘You know, I’ve read a lot about this pastor that you guys were gonna have,’ Sandoval told Jax at the batting cages birthday bash in Los Angeles.
‘I’m wondering why it took Lisa coming to you guys about this guy…,’ he continued before Jax cut him off.
‘No, no, no, I’m not talking about this,’ Jax said angrily as he stormed off.

‘I’m done. And it didn’t take Lisa. I’m not talking about this,’ Jax hissed.
Brittany meanwhile was having her own breakdown after reading comments on social media ridiculing her princess-themed bridal shower.
Jax checked in on his crying fiancee and told her about Sandoval questioning him why it took Vanderpump saying something for them to act.

‘You do not know what I’ve been going through,’ Brittany told Sandoval.
‘Why are you f***ing trying to do something like this to somebody? Why are you trying to hurt somebody like that?,’ Jax shouted at Sandoval.
Stassi Schroeder, 31, then accused Sandoval of trying to make them look bad and of trying to be a ‘martyr’ before comparing him to the honorable Jon Snow character from Game Of Thrones.
‘Sandoval, we’re not in Westeros, we’re in Koreatown. Just be nice to your friends, man,’ Stassi said in a confessional.

Stassi earlier blamed Jax and Brittany for ignoring their pastor problem after it came out six months ago that he was posting anti-LGBQT messages.
‘They don’t think too hard about things,’ Stassi said.
Sandoval during the birthday party brought up the pastor’s transphobic posts from 2018 and Brittany erupted at him.
‘How dare you!,’ she yelled at him. ‘I chose to believe him, okay? This is my friend. I’m so sorry that I didn’t go back and look at comments from five f***ing years ago.’

Sandoval complained about the groupthink surrounding Jax and Brittany ahead of their wedding.
‘I just feel like it’s dangerous to have a group of friends where people are not allowed to speak up when they feel like something’s wrong,’ he said in a confessional.
‘It just pissed me off that Jax wasn’t standing up for his friends, for my friends, for the community that we’re a part of,’ he added.

Ariana who admitted to being ‘triggered’ by the pastor’s posts also broached the subject with Jax.
‘This is a topic that’s very sensitive,’ Jax said.
‘It’s also a topic that’s very sensitive to me, as a bisexual woman,’ Ariana said.

Brittany meanwhile was screaming at Sandoval, saying, ‘I did nothing wrong, so f*** you!’

Stassi hired five Disney-like princesses for princess-crazy Brittany who thoroughly enjoyed the party.
