This is the shocking moment a Deliveroo bicycle courier runs down a woman crossing the road at a zebra crossing. 

The cyclist was pedaling down Marylebone High Street in London on Thursday lunchtime when he collided with the woman. 

According to footage of the incident filmed on a dashcam, the cyclist struck the woman and knocked her over.

The rider is also knocked from his bike and quickly jumps back up onto his feet. 

Witnesses said the cyclist apologised and claimed his ‘brakes were faulty’ before riding off. 

Several members of the public came to the woman’s assistance. 

According to the Metropolitan Police the incident was not reported to them.
