Irina Shayk prowled the catwalk in thigh high boots at Moschino’s Milan Fashion Week show

She was last seen letting her hair down at a BRITs after-party with Burberry designer pal Riccardo Tisci, after walking the catwalk for London Fashion Week. 

But model Irina Shayk ‘s hair was most decidedly up as she channeled Marie Antoinette at Moschino’s Milan Fashion Week show on Thursday.

The Russian beauty, 34, looked regal in a black hoop skirt above a pair of thigh-high black platform boots with front lace fastenings.

Irina contrasted the extravagant skirt with a simple hoodie bearing the Moschino name across the chest in white lettering.

The model’s slender neck was laden with heavy chains and strings of pearls, while her ears bore a pair of pearl encrusted earrings in the shape of the letter ‘M’ and a peace sign. 

A signature hip belt made from pearl beads spelled out the Italian fashion house’s name at the brunette’s waist.

The designers added a slight biker chick edge to the ensemble by putting a pair of fingerless leather gloves on the model’s hands. 

Irina’s elaborate hairdo was based upon doomed French Aristocrat Marie Antoinette’s famous ‘pouf.’ 

The stunner wore her chestnut locks piled atop her head like an elaborate birdcage while other models from the show sported the pouf in different colours.

Supermodel Irina looked positively feline with thick winged eyeliner and subtle pink gloss accentuating her sensuously full pout.

Irina joined fellow modelling stars Gigi and Bella Hadid in showcasing the French aristrocrat themed collection.

The Spring season designed by Moschino’s Jeremy Scott featured elaborate hoop skirts, waist cinching bodices and busty bustiers teamed with lace up boots. 

The 18th century looks were updated by the designer, who added modern silhouettes including fitted trousers and streamlined vests. 

While Irina was head to toe black, other creations featured French country scenes in classic pastel prints.  

Scott closed the show with dresses made to look like layered cakes, a tongue-in-cheek reference to the ‘Let them eat cake,’ phrase often attributed to Marie Antoinette.  

Irina, who shares Lea with ex-husband Bradley Cooper, 45, recently said there have been some tough times as a single mother since she and the actor separated some eight months ago.

‘It’s hard to find a balance between being a single mom and being a working woman and provider,’ she said in an interview with British Vogue. 

‘Trust me, there are days I wake up and I’m like, “Oh my god, I don’t know what to do, I’m falling apart.”‘ 

But the pair still appear to be on good terms, and were pictured together last week reuniting at a fashion event in London.
