Julianne Moore and Bart Freundlich look inseparable after 23 years together on stroll in NYC


After 24 years together, Julianne Moore and husband Bart Freundlich are still inseparable.  

The lovebirds, who share children Caleb, 22, and Liv, 18, beamed while crossing the street together in New York City on Sunday.   

The loverbirds, who first met together while working on the film The Myth of Fingerprints, coordinated in matching denim bottoms and black sunglasses on a casual stroll in the Big Apple.

While strutting down the sidewalk, the 58-year-old Oscar winner showcased her off-duty style in an over-sized camel coat and cropped jeans. 

To battle the chilly temperatures, the Still Alice star hid her signature red tresses under a black beanie. 

Even under her hat, Moore’s fiery hair could be seen blowing in the wind while she kept a fresh face next to her spouse.

In August, the actress opened up about her whirlwind romance, which began when she was 35 and he had just turned 26 on set. 

‘Twenty-three years with the same guy. It’s pretty amazing,’ she told InStyle of her relationship with the director. 

‘Well, he’s a romantic partner, a work partner, and also a parental partner. I’ve talked about this with my kids,’ she gushed while gracing the 25th anniversary issue.

 Julianne shared: ‘I said: ‘You know, if you want to have a successful career and family, you have to find somebody who is as interested in that as you are and is willing to share the work with you because otherwise you can’t do it. It’s too hard.”

In March, the actress also spoke about their ‘unexpected’ 16-year marriage.  

‘It kept going, and now we have this huge history together,’ she told People.

The film icon added: ‘When you find a person, you have to invest in them and that relationship. And that’s what love is.’

Moore says marriage is: ‘a container for a family and that’s why legal marriage is important — that everyone be allowed to be married, every couple, because it’s a way of saying to the world, ‘I’m legally committed to this person and I’m going to make this container for the two of us, and then our children, and our life together.”

Despite their strong relationship, she admitted he can get jealous of her on-screen love scenes.

 Last year, she revealed on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live that her scripted make out with Mark Wahlberg in 1997’s Boogie Nights bothered him the most. 

‘We were very early in our relationship, so lot’s of arguments in the car,’ she added, as the couple didn’t get married until 2003.

Over the past two decades, the pair have made four films together, most recently After The Wedding.
