‘You can’t unsee it!’ Married At First Sight fans notice a strange detail about Steve’s hairline – and there’s a very simple reason why he does it

Steve Burley’s quiff on Married At First Sight has left fans scratching their heads.

Whereas the silver fox, 51, who owns Kingsman Barbers in Melbourne’s Balaclava, always looks perfectly groomed, one unusual detail has baffled viewers.

The reality star has bizarrely been accused of ‘purposely receding his hairline’.

However, Daily Mail Australia can reveal the simple explanation behind Steve’s hair.

The 51-year-old chooses to shave the front of his V-shape hairline back, so his hair is then cut in an even line before slicking it back into a fashionable quiff.

Steve tells Daily Mail Australia he gets a ‘skinfade slick’ that is evenly ‘lined up’ on his forehead, laughing he ‘now regrets it’ amid the speculation on social media.

Away from the reality show, Steve spends his days managing his barbershop.

Although he doesn’t cut hair himself, the reality star is often found looking after clients, and enjoying a beer and game of pool with them inside the shop.

He employs a team of staff, with the barbershop often completely booked out.
