Modern Family SPOILER: Mitch and Cam may be growing their family

After 11 seasons ABC’s hit family comedy, Modern Family, will be coming to an end in April.

And new photos from the show’s final day of filming Friday have given a big hint at a few of the character’s last story lines.

Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) were spotted filming with their on screen daughter Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) and a possible new family member.

Mitch, Cam and Lily were spotted leaving one of the houses used for filming.

Cam, in a three piece grey suit white collard shirt and no tie carried a small suitcase.

While Mitch, in a black jean jacket and plaid shirt, carried a baby car seat with a baby inside.

It seems the on screen couple adopts a second baby in the show’s final moments.

In the most recent episode of the show, Cam received word that the couple’s form was chosen by an adoption agency as they decided on adopting again.

The couple adopted Lily from Vietnam in season one and since the baby in the carriage seemed to be of Asian decent, it seems they chose another baby from Asia again.

Modern Family’s last day of filming was on Friday, and cast members including Sofia Vergara, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Eric Stonestreet and Sarah Hyland took to Instagram to share some amazing images marking the final time the Dunphys, Tucker-Pritchetts, and Pritchett-Delgados all got together in front of the camera.

This show started modestly in 2009, and has gone on to practically reinvent the family sitcom from the ground up, winning over 20 Primetime Emmys and a Golden Globe along the way.

Images of empty sets, final fittings and throwback moments to the series’ pilot script all underscored the bittersweet feeling that the cast and crew seemed to share as they brought the Modern Family era in their careers to a close.

Ferguson, who played Mitchell Pritchett in all 250 episodes over the show’s 11 seasons, took a selfie seated cross-legged in the empty set that stood in for one of the families’ houses.

Posting it on the eve of the show’s last day of production, Ferguson shared an emotional J.M. Barrie quote as the beginning of his caption: ‘”Never say goodbye because goodbye means going away and going away means forgetting.”

‘Tomorrow is the last day of shooting @abcmodernfam,’ Jesse continued.

‘Thank you to all of our fans. It’s been a great 11 years & 250 episodes.’
