Cosmos: Possible Worlds will debut March 9 on the National Geographic channel, before reairing on Fox in the summer.

The show was originally expected to premiere a year earlier, but both networks pulled it from their schedules in February 2019 after its host, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, was accused of rape, sexual assault and sexual harassment by four women in November and December 2018.

Weeks after Cosmos was pulled, Fox and National Geographic announced that the investigation was complete and the series would move forward as previously planned, though they did not make any announcement officially clearing him of the claims.

This season is a sequel to the 2014 series Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, which was inspired by Carl Sagan’s iconic 1980 PBS series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which became the most widely watched public television series at the time.
