Bradley Cooper has a stern look on his face as he shoots a scene with Rooney Mara in the snow for their remake of 1947’s Nightmare Alley

Bradley Cooper was back filming his remake of the 1947 classic Nightmare Alley on Friday.

There was snow falling as the 45-year-old actor had a stern look on his face as he wore a long black winter coat with his dark hair slicked back while walking in the street in Buffalo, New York.

Also spotted was his co-star Rooney Mara, who portrays a young carnival worker named Molly. She was in a red coat when getting out of a vintage yellow taxi cab.

Cooper was dressed to perfection in a nicely tailored black coat over a shirt and tie.

The A Star Is Born actor also had on grey slacks and accessorized with black leather gloves and dark brown dress shoes.

It is too bad he did not have a hat on, but that would just have messed up his slicked-back hair.

The star was seen stepping onto a snow-covered sidewalk with vintage cars in the background.

The actor had on a black fedora after the city issued a winter storm warning.

On Wednesday morning the National Weather Service issued caution to western New York, predicting 5 to 9 inches of snow.

Despite the majority film being shot in Toronto, the town has been vocal about their excitement over the cast and crew’s arrival and WKBW reported Cooper, del Toro, and crew members enjoyed Italian food in downtown Buffalo their first night.

Cooper stars alongside Cate Blanchett in the flick set for a 2021 release.

Last month, the cast was spotted together for the first time shooting scenes in Canada.

The IMDb synopsis for Nightmare Alley reads, ‘A corrupt con-man teams up with a female psychiatrist to trick people into giving them money.’

The original film starred Tyrone Power in the lead role of Stan Carlisle, who will be played in the remake by Cooper.

This is in fact the third film in which Cate and Rooney will appear together; in addition to 2015’s Carol, for which they were both nominated for Academy Awards, the pair of thespians also starred in Terrence Malick’s Song To Song in 2017.

Cooper swiped the role from Leonardo DiCaprio, after the Titanic star failed to ‘close the deal’ according to THR.
