Courteney Cox mused about which actors would replace the cast of Friends if the show ever did a reboot during a hike with actor Kevin Nealon on his podcast, aptly named Hiking with Kevin.
The 55-year-old actress said that actor Timothée Chalamet would be a perfect Joey Tribbiani in a potential remake of the series in an interview that was released on Thursday.
That same day she was spotted in Los Angeles getting in some retail therapy at Celine.

‘Who would you recast today on Friends?’ Nealon asked as they were hiking in Malibu. ‘Is there anybody that stands out in your head?’
‘Timothée Chalamet can be Joey,’ said the star who played Monica in the show.
Nealon was quick to agree: ‘Yes! How great is he?’ Cox, concurred and complimented the 24-year-old actor saying,’Oh, he’s so great.
Matt LeBlanc starred as sandwich loving, Italian-American struggling actor Joey Tribianni in Friends from 1994-2004, and in his own spin off Joey from from 2004-2006.

‘Timothée Chalamet can be Joey,’ said the star who played Monica in the show.
Other than the Call Me By Your Name star, the pair had a hard time finding names to step into the other five roles.
‘Who would be a good Schwimmer?’ Cox asked in reference to actor David Schwimmer who played her on-screen brother Ross.
Nealon asked: ‘Jonah Hill?’
Courtney, however, didn’t sound too convinced that the 36-year-old Superbad actor would be the right fit.

Courteney also discussed her highly anticipated Friends reunion special with Kevin and positively gushed about the gang getting back together.
The reunion special was first announced in November, but it was made official in February, with Cox returning alongside Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer.
‘So the exciting thing is that we’re all going to get together for the first time, in a room, and actually talk about the show, and it’s going to be on HBO Max,’ Cox said on the podcast.

On Thursday, Cox stepped out in a gunmetal grey top tucked into rolled up form-fitting blue jeans with black pumps to do some shopping on Melrose Place.
The actress also wore a gold necklace and silver hoop earrings along with a few rings as she carried her phone and sunglasses.
‘I’m so excited. We’re going to have the best time. It’s going to be great,’ she added.

She completed her look with a large black leather bag which hung from her right shoulder.
In addition to joining her Friends for the reunion special, Cox is also slated to executive produce.
The reunion will be filmed from Stage 24 on the Warner Bros. lot, where Friends was originally shot, which will be available when HBO Max launches in May.
