Howzat for a sale! Ex-cricketer Brett Lee sells his Sydney home for more than $9million… just six days after putting it on the market

Brett Lee made quite the profit when he sold his northern Sydney home recently.

After listing the Clontarf property for between $8million and $8.8million, it quickly sold for more than $9million, according to Domain on Thursday.

The newly-renovated house had only been on the market for six days when it was snapped up by a mystery buyer.

After a few years out of the spotlight, Brett surprised TV viewers when he appeared as a contestant on The Masked Singer last year.

In an interview with Popsugar in September, he revealed he had been given the opportunity to appear on several reality shows in the past, but turned them all down.

‘This appealed to me because it’s intriguing, the whole undercover aspect and the secrecy thing,’ he said. ‘It’s not an all-out singing show per se, it’s also about the costumes, the excitement and the fun.’
