‘I’m scared of our four-year-old!’ Grant Denyer reveals his daughter Scout told his wife Cheryl she wants to ‘chop her body up with a knife’
Grant Denyer has joked that he is scared of his four-year-old daughter Scout after she told his wife Cheryl she wanted to ‘chop her body up with a knife’.
The 42-year-old TV host shared a series of messages his wife had sent him explaining the exchange with her daughter in an Instagram post on Friday.
The TV host wrote: ‘I’m scared of our four-year-old!’

‘Either Scout’s just finished season two of Underbelly or we’re harbouring a nut job. I think I’ll move out until we find out. We’re clearly doing a great job,’ he wrote.
In the message exchange, Cheryl informed her husband: ‘While driving home I said we needed to lie down cause I’m feeling a bit unwell.’
‘[Scout] wasn’t happy and said’see this sad face mum. That’s because I want to chop your body up with a knife cause you’ve annoyed me’.’
A stunned Grant asked his wife: ‘Are you serious? F*k me that’s dark but funny.’

Cheryl continued to explain the conversation she had with her four-year-old and said she was ‘freaked out’.
‘I am serious. I kinda freaked but spoke calmly and said ‘if you chop my body up with a knife you will kill me and then you will miss me. Is that what you really want?”
Cheryl added: ‘She shrugged her shoulders. I said ‘then I’ll be gone forever’. And she said ‘I am just angry at you that’s all’. Bloody psycho.’

‘I suggest you don’t close your eyes,’ Grant jokingly replied.
Grant and Cheryl, who married in Hamilton Island in 2010, also share eight-year-old Sailor.
Grant is currently hosting the second season of Dancing With The Stars, alongside Amanda Keller.
