They set up a production company called Run After It and in 2018 even moved to Los Angeles so that Froggatt could pursue career opportunities in Hollywood.

Froggatt, who starred in last year’s Downton Abbey movie and will soon reprise her role in the hit ITV thriller Liar, remains one of Britain’s most popular stars.

Clearly having smoothed things over, James wheeled Joanne’s suitcase behind him, which likely contained all the things she had been keeping in her dressing room.

Joanne has previously opened up about James, saying that she found it refreshing that he managed an IT company and was not in the showbiz industry.

‘He’s passionate about film and theatre, so we have a common interest – and he’s not in the business, so it’s perfect,’ she told The Telegraph in 2015.
