Christina Aguilera canceled the Friday night show of her Las Vegas residency.

The 39-year-old singer, who began the last leg of her Vegas show The Xperience this Wednesday, tweeted her apologies Friday.

‘I’m heartbroken to say that unfortunately tonight’s show in Las Vegas has been cancelled due to severe technical difficulties that could not be remedied,’ she wrote.

‘Refunds will be issued automatically at your original point of purchase. I am so sorry for this inconvenience. xo,’ she added.

There is also supposed to be an Xperience show on Saturday night and Christina assured fans that she ‘will be back tomorrow’.

Christina posted her apology tweet at 10:34pm Las Vegas time, approximately an hour and a half after the show was scheduled to begin.

Friday was meant to be the second show of the last leg of Christina’s Las Vegas residency, which will wrap up for good next Saturday.

The Xperience began its first leg at the Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood last May and the current leg is its fourth.

She has only so far canceled one show of the residency, scrapping the December 27 show ‘because I am currently under the weather.’

During this Wednesday’s show Christina revealed that she will be on the soundtrack for Disney’s upcoming live-action remake of Mulan.

Christina famously recorded the ballad Reflection for the original 1998 animated version of Mulan – and has done so again for the new one.

‘The live action Mulan is coming out by the way. You have to go see it,’ she said onstage Wednesday, according to Entertainment Weekly.

‘I recorded a new Reflection and new material for the movie. I’ve been working on that, but this is the original,’ she said before launching into the song.
