It was a fateful sing-along session for Zooey Deschanel.
The 40-year-old actress must have seen sparks after she met her Property Brothers boyfriend Jonathan Scott, 41, for the first time back in August 2019 for an episode of Carpool Karaoke.
She was joined by her sister Emily Deschanel, 43, and Jonathan’s twin brother Drew Scott in an episode released Thursday on Apple TV.

The New Girl star looked sleek in a black tank top and matching slacks, and she wore her brunette locks in thick curls cascading over her shoulders.
Jonathan looked festive in a purple floral print shirt, while Drew wore a blue polo shirt buttoned all the way to the top and Emily wore a denim dress over a pink striped shirt.

He couldn’t seem to remember the song she sings in the shower in the film, so Zooey broke into the opening lines of Baby It’s Cold Outside, just as the karaoke music started playing for Britney Spears’ …Baby One More Time.
The quartet juxtaposed the classic winter song with the edgy pop song, which combined surprisingly well.
Though most of the episode appeared to take place in the car, the group got out for a bit to perform a short dance to Britney’s track.

The She & Him singer was previously married to film producer Jacob Pechenik from 2015 until they announced their separation in September 2019.
Prior to that, she was married to Death Cab for Cutie’s Ben Gibbard from 2009–2012.
They share two children, Elsie Otter, four, Charlie Wolf, two.
