On Sunday night, Beau Ryan was the latest celebrity to be eliminated from Dancing With The Stars. 

The former rugby league footballer was gracious in his exit, admitting that he had two left feet and was not shocked by the result. 

The 34-year-old said of his time on the dancing competition, ‘It’s been one hell of a journey, man’.

He added: ‘To be honest, I didn’t really want to do the show in the start because I can’t dance and I was in the deep end!’ 

Beau went on to thank R U OK Day for their support – the athlete’s time on the show was in honour of the suicide prevention charity. 

He also thanked his dance partner Megan Megan Wragg for her patience as he was often ‘very busy’ and she had to work around his schedule

The TV personality then thanked his wife and children, who he said he’d been away from for a month.

However when it came down to Beau and competitor Chloe Lattanzi, the judges ultimately voted to save Chloe, who was nursing a rib injury. 

On Sunday, Beau and his dance partner wished everyone a Happy Mardi Gras as they posed in sparking pink outfits in an Instagram post. 

Beau wrote: ‘Happy #MardiGras2020 fam from everyone here @channel10au. Stay safe fam and don’t do anything I wouldn’t do.’
