While Elizabeth acknowledged that things can sometimes ‘slip out’ during interviews, she said this year’s spoilers have ruined the show for viewers.

‘People want to follow the journey and people are invested in the contestants,’ she added.

‘So it’s unfortunate that they’re talking about it before it happens.’

Elizabeth is set to marry ex-footy player Seb Guilhaus on Married At First Sight this week.

It’s believed the couple are still together after filming the show last year.

Ahead of her return to the franchise, her ex-‘husband’ Sam Ball took a subtle swipe at her over the weekend.

Elizabeth and Sam were paired on MAFS last year, but their ‘marriage’ ended in tears when he cheated with another bride, Ines Basic.

It comes after Sunday night’s commitment ceremony saw Hayley Vernon and David Cannon forced off the show.

After Hayley chose to stay in the experiment with David out of ‘spite’ and to punish him for cleaning a toilet with her toothbrush, expert John Aiken intervened.

Meanwhile, Stacey Hampton sobbed hysterically as she was made to spend another week with Michael Goonan, who continued to deny drunkenly kissing Hayley.
