Married At First Sight producers embarrassingly caught ‘recycling outfits’ on the reality show

So nice, they used it twice! Married At First Sight producers caught ‘recycling outfits’ on the reality show – and it’s not the first time

Married At First Sight producers have been caught recycling outfits on the reality show.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted the blunder on Tuesday.

A side-by-side meme on Instagram showed one of this season’s participants, David Cannon, 31, wearing a blue checked blazer and a pale pink business shirt. Co-star Steve Burley, 51, also wore the same outfit in a later scene.

Awkward: Married At First Sight producers have been caught recycling outfits on the reality show. David Cannon, 31, wore a blue checked blazer and a pale pink business shirt before Steve Burley, 51, wore the same outfit

It appears to be an in-joke for some members of the cast, with Natasha Spencer liking the post.

Steve’s ‘TV wife’ Mishel Karen also left a witty remark, writing: ‘What the … you two boys sharing clothes’ along with two emojis with the tongue out.

This isn’t the first time Married At First Sight producers have been caught recycling clothes and scenes on the show.

On the last season of the controversial series, Martha Kalifatidis was surprised by Michael Brunelli with a pair of earrings on their final date.

It was nearly identical to a scene screened the prior year involving Sarah Roza and Telv Williams.

Rinse and repeat: Telv and Sarah (L) enjoyed lunch by the water and discussed moving in together in season five

The date mirrored Telv Williams and Sarah Roza’s final date, right down to the location and conversation.

Like Martha and Michael, Sarah and Telv had lunch by the ocean and discussed moving in together after the show – which ended in a fight.

Sarah also received a new pair of earrings from her beau – just like Martha.

Identical: Martha (above) also put the earrings on straight away in a scene that was eerily similar to Sarah and Telv's date on the reality show

Happy wife, happy life! Sarah couldn't wait to put the new earrings on as soon as she got them

Meanwhile, at the start of last season, Ines Basic’s ‘affair’ with Sam Ball was called out by fans for being too similar to Dean Wells and Davina Rankin’s illicit tryst on season five.
