‘He is really good like that. So watch this space.’

The Strictly: It Takes Two host split from construction boss Michael Reed in November, which was her first relationship since cameraman Billy Yates, who tragically took his own life in 2017.

Reflecting on the last difficult few years, Zoe declared she was in a good place and ‘happy’, thanks to the support of radio listeners.

She said: ‘We’ve had such a brilliant year, I’m loving it. The listeners have really been there for me over the last few years. It’s such a privilege to do this show. We go through ups and downs of life together, it’s a real joy. I love it.’

Zoe’s appearance comes after she discussed the death of her partner Billy, admitting ‘losing him was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with in my life.’

In an emotional interview on BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, the radio veteran spoke of Billy’s death and the grief she endured after he took his own life following a long battle with depression.

Zoe touched on the cameraman’s struggle with mental health, and encouraged anyone else struggling to reach out for help.

The It Takes Two star said: ‘I think it’s so isolating to be trapped in your mind like that, when you doubt yourself, you doubt everything you’ve ever known. You doubt your family love you. You doubt your friends care for you.’

Speaking of the song Do I Love You by Frank Wilson, which she dedicated to Billy, Zoe said: ‘This track will always remind me of him. He loved to dance and loved to laugh and he brought so much into my life.

She added: ‘ I wanted to play a piece of music for him that reflected him as a human.’

Earlier this year, the blonde sparked reconciliation rumours with her ex-boyfriend Michael after calling time on their two-year relationship late last year.

Zoe is said to have split from Michael after ‘growing uncomfortable’ with his ambitions ‘to become a model and actor’, with friends fearing he could be ‘using her’.

A source told The Sun: ‘Zoe knew deep down the relationship wasn’t going anywhere. She enjoyed her time with Michael but came to the conclusion he wasn’t a keeper, despite him believing they were getting serious.

‘There were certain things she grew uncomfortable with, such as him wanting to become a model and actor. Her close circle feared he was using her to enhance his own career.’

A second source claimed Zoe split from Michael to focus on work and her two children.

The insider said: ‘It is very amicable. With all Zoe’s had going on with Billy, work and Norman she’s had so much to deal with and sadly a new relationship was too much. They remain friends but she’s happily single and focusing on her kids and work.’
